Actress and Caribbean starlet Lunden De'Leon was born in Barbados to proud parents Arthur and Dorothy Davis. Soon after her birth, her parents relocated the family to South Carolina. After excelling academically in school, Lunden was accepted to 4 colleges: Atlanta, Virginia, South Carolina and California. She first attended Long Beach State in Long Beach California majoring in Journalism, then UCLA majoring in communications and finally The Los Angeles Theater Academy.
She's regarded as one of the sexiest women in Hollywood. Fans in Europe recall first being introduced to Lunden as Joanne Mbutu on the hit German television series Vital Signs. 3-years later, the sultry actress has catapulted that breakout role into a successful career with quite an impressive track-record by starring in over fifty movies and television shows like the 20th Century Fox Movie "The Ladies Room", "Surviving Paradise", "Fury", "Faux-Pas," "Cryptz," the HBO award-winning film "Kickin Chicken" and her short but steamy cameo appearance in the hit Jamaican action movie "Rude Boys" starring Beenie Man, Mark Danvers and Ninja Man.
This Caribbean beauty started her career as a Swimsuit Illustrated Model gracing the covers of national and international magazines. The success of her modeling career led her to appearances on the NBC hit television sitcom Just Shoot Me as well as appearances in music videos for musical artists like Michael Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, Bon Jovi, and the Offspring.
With Lunden's popularity, it was only natural for her to be named "One of the Most Beautiful Women in the World" by an online poll, Voted "One of the Top Rising Female Stars" by International Black Women Magazine and "The First Black Actress to Star in an Online Series" for her role in the internet television series "Sitcom". The show led her to ink a joint venture deal with the Los Angeles based film company Marrland Entertainment allowing the actress to produce and direct movies for theatrical and television release.
Ambitious, beautiful, and one of the hardest working women in showbiz, Lunden has catapulted her career from swimsuit model to record label executive. In September 2003 the supermodel turned actressd the doors to her Los Angeles based record label Dirrty records, signing award-winning rocker DH Peligro (Dead Kennedys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nailbomb).
Lunden commented: "Since starting my label, I have a greater respect for labels like Def Jam, Bad Boy, No Limit and a number of other successful indie labels," says Lunden who is set to star in the action movie "Undercover", based on the 1970's ABC television series Get Christy Love! "You must be business savvy and extremely creative to compete with the majors".
